She was with Pine View dance Company for three years training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, and contemporary. She went on to dance at Dixie State studying dance performance, modern, and jazz. Drew especially loves dance technique and strength training. She loves keeping up with the latest choreography trends and passing it onto others. She took on EYDC when her aunt retired and she plans to continue teaching for years and years to come. She then began teaching when she was in high school and hasn’t left since! In between, she danced for Pine View High School Dance Company, Dixie State Dance Company, and minored in dance at SUU. She has a passion for hip hop, lyrical, and Latin dance. From the time Jennifer started the company, Jenika would travel to St. George every week from Cedar City to take dance at Express Yourself. She did that until she made the Cedar High drill team in 2006. After dancing on the drill team for 4 years, including a State Championship her senior year, Jenika went on to dance for the Southern Utah University (SUU) dance team. She met her husband in college and they moved to St. George where they decided to settle down and start a family. Jenika is a mother of 3 kids (One boy & 2 Girls) and she loves being able to have a creative outlet that keeps dance close to her heart after all these years. McKenzie attended Southern Utah University where she received her Bachelors degree in Dance Education and Special Education. Throughout her college career at SUU, McKenzie was a member of the Modern Dance Company, Orchesis, and has pursued her dream of dancing by shaping it into her career. Since attending college, McKenzie has worked at various dance studios around Southern Utah and taught Special Education for three years. McKenzie is going on her 6th year of teaching at Pine View High and directing the high schools dance company.
